have been baking banana bread before and after 2 years of testing, I’ve finally came up with the best and perfect Banana Bread Recipe. I love sharing my banana bread recipes and other recipes to friends and family.
I knew someone who would hesitate to share their recipes and they always have excuses like “I’m too busy”, ” I will try”, or “I won’t be around those days”, lol. But me? Nah Ah…
After trying the recipe and making it perfect I love sharing it on my blog so people can visit or copy it. Food is meant to be shared and enjoyed. Food makes me happy and the way to multiply happiness is to share it.
This banana bread has been tasted by 4 friends and 2 family members. They said it’s good and some said it’s the best. I even saw one of them baked 3 loaves and his kids finished all of them and wanted more.
So the reviews are not only based on my taste buds but also from other people’s. So I am sharing it with confidence that this banana bread recipe will give you the perfect result if you will follow my recipe really well. No cheating please. That won’t work.
Soft and Fluffy Banana Bread Recipe: Preparation Time : 10 Minutes Bake Time: 1 Hour
3 Ripe Bananas – Mashed (too ripe is best)
1/4 Cup Butter – Melted
1 Cup Flour
1 Cup Brown or Light Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
Preheat oven to 325 F (162 C)
Peel and mash bananas. Mash bananas into really fine pieces. No big chunks.
Add sugar and stir until melted with the bananas.
Add egg and mix, then add the butter. Mix and set aside
Combine flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
Mix very well and add to the bananas and stir very well until all the dry ingredients are wet.
Pour in a greased bread/loaf pan. I used butter to grease my pan.
Bake for 1 hour at 325 F .
When done take it out from the oven but do not remove banana bread from pan.
Cover the pan with foil and let rest for 20 minutes.
Remove cover and transfer banana bread on a big plate and slice using a serrated knife if you have one. It’s okay to use regular knife.
Serve and enjoy.
